#89120 - serial and display Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Back to topic: what about storing the bitmaps in big serial memories? I2C or SPI, or some sort of memory card - Atmel DataFlash or MMC?
David stated: " ...graphic display 128x64, then use some bitmaps to create simple animations ..." I have yet to see an application for using serial memory with a moving display - it is simply too slow. let us calculate e.g. by IIC even sommething as small as 128x64 bits will take 82 ms whicl is approximately the same as 1/11 second and that is not fast enough for animation.
