#89129 - a word on Flash Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Now we are discussing Flash, something came to mind: When selecting the flash for a project, I came across a fact that, had I not caught it, would have spelled trouble.
Of the 1 and 2 megabyte flashes I evaluated, most had chip erase times in the order of 20 seconds or more. Another group had chip erase times of less than 100 ms. The cost differential between the two was neglible. When selecting flash, do not miss this parameter. Erik |
