#89127 - MMC real tests Responding to: ???'s previous message |
hi,
here we use MMC as storage. In fact, when it needs then data from MMC is unpacked to external RAM and then used as video source via external CPLD and its DMA controller. But what I have to say is that the maximal read rate from MMC we have reached is about 700k bytes/s. And the problem is not in slow SPI (we use SPI at 16,3MHz). The problem is that MMC does lags when prepared data to be read from. According its manual, the data read access time for each sector is about 1,5ms. In our case it is at least twice little, but anyway... Regards, Oleg |
