#98321 - UART-ISP |
Recently, discussion has been here over ISP programmable '51, part of which are the UART-ISP-able derivatives. They often also support IAP (e.g. rewriting its own code FLASH in runtime).
I have prepared a table with overview of some of the UART-ISP capable derivatives, together with list of ISP and IAP commands. [Edit: added] http://www.8052.com/users/wek/rd2comp.htm I have deliberately omitted the ADuC family, even if it is UART-ISP programmable; but contrary to the prevailing method, it employs a binary protocol, so it cannot be used simply from any terminal program. Comments, corrections welcome. Jan Waclawek |
