I know that there are many Mac's around in the US; is there a port of FM or FLIP or WSD(*) for MacOS?.
can't you do that through "whine" ? runs on PC under DOS (there ARE real reasons for it, don't open this question please). I would'nt, I have an old PC networked and sitting under my desk that run win98 just for DOS reasons. The only drawback stemming from it is that the programming is somewhat slower, as more characters have to be transmitted per byte. I see another drawback, the dedicated ISP softwares have ISP related error handling and reporting that a "terminal program" does not. Anyhow, for My company in This country (USA) using FM has never been a problem. Erik |
