Hi dear Steve ,
thanks , i really enjoy learning new thing specially in this field .
as i was said here before i am intrested to make my chevy controlled by an electroniv fuel injection controller (ECU).(http://www.diy-efi.org/)
it seems that iam stepping the first floor by this , i can connect a magnet to the fly wheel (if i recall it correct) and then read the TDC by a hall effect sensor , then drive the Coil primary based on that !this way i'll designed a Digiatl Timing Ignition Controll (called TCI in europe ?)

currently i am downloading the PDF you've linked to .
