Thanks for clearing that up for me.

It's alright , personally i didn't got my hands on something which could be capable of feeding more than 60mA !
i will look to find very high intensity ones , but in this project where i'm not about to use a bunch of them , even a big current limiting resistor will do the job.but in this typical project i prefer the passive(LM317) idea , rather than switching(SMPS) which is a bit more complicated.
