IMHO the ease of the use would cover the lack of power, but in case if more power was needed , more LED's could be used.
And will it work on a landrover....

maybe i didb't got your point ,but this could be used in every vehicle (hopefully there should be a disturbutor to rotate) which has a TDC mark on its flywheel.
