Dear Forum Members,

I made opto isolated RS232 - TTL converter for programming Philips micros with flashmagic using USB port. Its working great.

I used BAFO make BF810 USB to RS232 converter. The output of this converter is fed to MAX232 and TTL connections of MAX232 are optoisolated using 6N137 for tx and rx. supply for MAX232 is derived from second USB port as seen in photo below.



If any body is intreseted in this isolator let me know I will post complete schematic and PCB layouts.
