#101208 - Check SBCMON
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Check out the code in SBCMON. It has software-driven I2C which works fine on an Atmel AT89S8253, which (speed-wise) is just a standard 12-clock 8052.

Download the ASM code and look for the routines: SI2CIN (receive byte), SI2COUT (send byte), SI2CRES (reset bus), SI2CSTA (start signal), and SI2CSTO (stop signal).

These routines work fine with the I2C-based DS1307 that SBCMON is designed to work with.

Regards,
Craig Steiner
