#101278 - this is a bootleg, use the original Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I've used the code here
http://www.ustr.net/files/i2cbits.asm This is a bootleg from a Philips appnote, Greg Goodhue wrote a lot of appnote code for Philips, I know of no code published by him at any other place. I would hunt it up in the philips appnotes http://www.semiconductors.philips.com/products/..._appnotes/ or http://www.semiconductors.philips.com/buses/i2c...index.html who knows if the usrt.net bootleg is the original and if possible modifications are included. I would put great confidence in this code a) Greg, as opposed to most otheres do state "This routine must be tuned for the actual oscilator frequency used" and b) it has been around since before Philips discontinued the Signetics name. If there had been any problems they would have been fixed, and the appnote republished by now, but who knows when the appnote was bootlegged. Erik |
