#101639 - another tack. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
1) I am using the 70691HEX board from HomeTechFLA (formerly Suncoast) which is a Temic TSCC51.
2) P1.6 for SDA and P1.7 for SCL. I'm not using any of the other pins at this time. 3) 4.7k Ohm 4) ? I don't understand what you are asking here. 5) Maybe 16 inches via the jumper wires I'm using. 6) the MAX6956 I have plugged into a breadboard. 7) Pin 2&3 are connected to the ground on my breadboard and pin 28 (V+) is connected to the 5 volts of my breadboard. My volt meter shows I've got 5.10 volts going to the breadboard. I've done some other testing with this '51 running a 5x7 DM LED on ports P1 and P3. Thats where I designed my fonts for the graphics displays I will be trying later. If I could get this chip to do anything I think I'd be able to move forward, but I can't even tell if I run the command to put it in test mode and see if anything is actually happening. I've even asked for some examples from Maxim and they have nothing to offer. |
