Hello!

I'm 8052 enthusiast.
One friend need simply, very cheap and very easy home control system. He wants to use typical electric switches and rails.
Is there any ready made protocol to build smart network on 8052 family???
I know about RS-485 but, how can I optimize network to work stability and self boot up after crash.

I think about network, build with some individual appliance, and programming every one of them.

As a hardware I want to use AT89S51 or AT89S2051. They will work with one magistrale supply 24V , so i need a stabiliser in every appliance.

Have you any proposition???

Is there any cheap and easy communication by 2 wire.
