#10923 - RE: A place for Gurus !!!! |
Steve,
My degree is in ICS (Information and Computer Science) one of the electives was Digital Design. It covered boolean logic simplification, state machines, flip-flops and latches. One of our projects was to design, on paper, logic for an elevator and for a street signal. But, no lab work for puting parts together. The experience I have in putting electronic things together was all on my own as a hobby. The semester I had the Digital Design class, I also had a boolean algebra class and a Logic class (Philosophy dept.) This was a real easy semester as all these classes were talking about essentially the same thing (highs and lows, ones and zeros, true and false). <>< Lance. Steve M.
