1) DO realize that resolution does not equate precision. Using an A/D with 24 bit resolution makes no difference if noise and drift is not controlled to the hilt.
2) using such resolution is a total waste if you are not an "analog eagle" everything matters (4 layer board, circuit layout, resistor choice, op amp choice, decoupling, power supply, grounding ....) 3) there is no 'cheap' or 'easy' way to achieve a precision better than, say, 8 bits 4) understand and totally realize 1) Erik |
