#121330 - Cheap Small footprint 8051 compatible
Hellow!
I intend to use an 8051 compatible for generating frequency of 38Khz and making it available at one of the output pins. The frequency generation should be taken care of by microcontroller at hardware level so that no loading is put on normal code execution (Like pin 1 of AT 89C52 which has timer2 output on pin 1). Another requirement of the project is just an input scanning. Kindly suggest a cost effective chip easily available in India with smallest footprint.

Warm Regards.

Mahesh Vyas.
