#126383 - Circuit Testing Software.....
Well I don’t know if anything like this really exists, but I am asking anyway. Could anyone tell where I can find a FREE tool that I may use to test my circuits? For example if I come up with a design involving some 8051 chips and some standards chips (e.g. from the 7400 series) I want to be able to
1. Arrange or draw the circuit in the software
2. "Burn" the program in the 8051 parts, and (as in to tell the software to make a particular 8051 chip to behave in a certain programmed way)
3. Test if everything works fine.

Wikipedia says such stuff falls under EDA (Electronic Design Automation) I have been surfing the net but haven’t found anything free and well known at the same time. I hope you'll be able to help me find some free stuff.

Thanks in advance.
