#129228 - I once attended a seminar ...
Responding to: ???'s previous message
This seminar included a talk by someone who, among other things, advised entrepreneurs and businessmen on how to squeeze more benefit from their businesess. The message included an exhortation to attempt to "beg, borrow, or steal" before buying anything.

At the end of the talk, I asked the speaker about a point he had made and he offerred to refer me to someone else to get a more definitive answer. This required that he refer to his own copy of the presentation notes, notes which were sold with each of the presentations. As it turned out, someone had stolen his annotated copy of these notes. I'm sure he wasn't amused, but he did rather joke about the fact that someone had apparently taken his talk to heart.
