BIOS services can't be accessed directly in good OS,
so-if service is available , OS builder was thinked about this.

1) Who said XP is a great OS? :-)
2) It's not because something is possible one should also do it...
I can drive my car in excess of 100mph... but that does not make it a sensible thing to do
