1. Jedec standards didn't apply to 8051s! As for a weird pinout - I've seen weirder - have a look at a Z80! No one said designing pcbs was supposed to be easy. If everything fell together like lego we wouldn't need computers or cad apckages with auto routers! 2. The minimum width is governed by how thin you can fabricate it. When you talk of two pins of a standard dip ic - what two pins? If we're talking about power then it might need to be thicker than,say an address or data line. I regulary use 34SWG magnet wire with heat strippable coating to hand wire circuits. I use thicker tinned copper wire for the power pins though. |
