No - they are Connectors, not ports.

Your Ports use them to provide their physical interface but they are not, in themselves, "Ports".

Again, they are the Connectors - they are not the Ports.

The Port consists of the entire interface - including, for RS232, the connector, RS232 transceiver, and UART.
