#132404 - if you, just for once, would take the time to read Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Let's see, just this once, if we can't actually help him instead of just telling him he's wrong or stupid, or crazy, or something.
if you, just for once, would take the time to read, you would find in the threads from Mike (Why this discussed is in multiple threads I do not know), at least, 3 suggestions from me as to how what he is attempting MAY be possible. That I consider his scheme "inventing a square wheel" is another matter. since you are so fond of examples let me quote from http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=132212 if you hold the reset constantly you will have all ports pins high (quasi-bidirectional allowing "wire OR") thus with the reset held your parallel port can manipulate all address and data lines at its hearts desire (remember to tri-state the address latrch on reset) Erik |
