#132524 - Yes, but, still, why dismiss ROM? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
but I want to be able to program my system containing an 80C51BH, 32K EEPROM (28C256), and 8K SRAM without removing the chips. Ok, now, if I understand correctly: you have a part of your design where you have address lines coming in and data lines coming out. In-between address and data lines is your 'hardware rom'? Right? Ok, now - I don't understand why you insist that this part of system should be 'hardware rom' and not some kind of ROM? Because all that apply to your 'hardware ROM' in terms of execution and logical function should be the SAME as for your real ROM part, and you can even change it if you need? If, however, you insist on building 'hardware rom' which is not so complicated for 64 bytes, then go on, in my previous post, you have steps you need to build one... Best, luck, CN |
