I can't believe, that anybody which can not deal with time constraints, can be a good hardware designer.

Since also on analog circuits you must watch, that a schematic works stable but not oscillate.
So you must calculate phase and time shifts over a regulation loop and insert RC circutis to compensate it.

Thus also if can watch the time constraints on analog circuits, why not on digital circuits ?
