I have just read about the needs of AC Voltage to be higher than the battery in order for the diode-or circuit to works, so i will place this 2 supplies before the 5V voltage regulator. Will research more on the circuit now, let me know if there is anything more to add. Thanks!

UPDATE : Is this the diode-or model you have mentioned?
