#135749 - Security system...
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Eugene Yong said:
What i am trying to achieve now is to be able to present my project to my university's lecturer and convince them of the basic stuff that the system is able to perform

Depends on their criteria for evaluating your project:

  • If it's just to demonstrate that you can get an 8051 to do something, then you could be fine;

  • If it's an exercise in understanding the specific requirements of a security system, and implementing that with an 8051, you could be in for a hard time.

    (i certainly hope that they will not try to find a way to 'defeat' my security system like you do) :)

    See above: If the project was specifically to make a security system, then proving that it did provide an adequate level of security would have to be part of the evaluation!
