#142143 - Embedded linux Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Embedded linux box is the best solution, since almost nothing limits my coding. But again, these boxes are costly.
Is there any way or is it better to go for 10 MBPS solution from PIC? These days, most prefer 10/100 autodetect. 10 MBPS, even though quite capable of handling most of the applications, are considered obsolete these days (I am not sure why!) I am looking for a single chip solution that costs less than 30 USD to manufacture, with TCP/ UDP, HTTP, TELNET and SNMP support. ARP, definitely is required. DNS also would be great. |
