If all you need to do is complement a value, you don't need an MCU or RAM at all. All you need is an inverter (74HC240). Why do you wish to process the Intel-formatted HEX file locally? Can't you do that much better at the PC end? As for the notion of operating a 33 MHz MCU at 40 MHz, the best you can hope for is that you end up with rubbish. The worst, of course, can be that you are sued to extinction, which is what you'd deserve if you deliver such a thing. RE |
