#152698 - shock? touching what?
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hello Everybody,
Kai said,
This doubtlessly means, that reversing neutral and phase WILL or CAN give a shock.

Can give a shock? By touching what? Everything is enclosed and sealed and LIVE is insulated by a plastic sheet and air gap 0.5 inch.So shock by touching what?
There are ultra small mains transformers available today, offering nearly ideal isolation.
These with so high turns per volt and sooooo thin INSULATED wire and so little window for insulating secondary from primary are running HOT and hence in OUR CLIMATE are unreliable statistically.I use them daily in chinese gadgets... damm hot...but surprisingly yet to fail.In any case I am not married to transformerless power supply and would be grateful if you would kindly give me names, details of best ultra small power transformers(230V to about three secondaries) PCB mounted and APPROVED.
With best regards
A.S.Rudra
