#152926 - DS89C430 boot loader Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I got this chip a few days ago but the loader responds by announcing itself.. ad infinitum.
"DS89C430 LOADER DS89C430 LOADER DS89C430 LOADER DS89C430 LOADER DS89C430 LOADER ..." My comms and reset circuit must be ok, I think. I tried it first using Dallas MTK software on Windows then a serial terminal GtkTerm on Linux with the same result. Is the chip a dud? Is there anything I can do? Any help or ideas gratefully received. |
