#152940 - Dallas MTK Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I used their MTK software for Windows but they don't say it's necessary or does anything special. It just sets the comms port settings pulls DTR low (used as reset control) and sends a <cr>.
I also tried a simple vanilla comms package on Linux and got the identical result. I don't think that's the problem. I didn't have a 'normal RC' reset circuit so I tried adding the nearest values I can manage for R and C from Atmel data but it didn't seem to make a difference. I'm scrabbling for better values. They may be unnecessary as the DTR line does seem to reset it properly. It's getting late here (1am) so may pack up soon. |
