And, in the context of his message, I have to agree. If the size of RAM you need is beyond any standard amount available commercially, and you desperately desire to have it on a chip, the only option is to go for an ASIC. And, from what I can see, '51 is nowadays the most readily available processor core to be added to an ASIC. From that perspective his message is 100% true, for what I scored it "+1 Illogically underrated". JW |
