no such thing said, just that the boondogle of 'paging' has no advantages (any more, used to have one pricewise) and with 'wide address bus' processors galore in the same price range there is no valid reason for the boondogle. I maintain, that there ARE applications where paging does not matter, as well as attaching a RAM serially or in whatever way. It may not 'matter' for the application, but added complexity equals likely more buggy. Erik |
