 		 #170390 - GSM modem, not PC..

Actually the serial port goes to GSM modem. The ground of my card and the GSM modem are tied together. Even if I remove the GSM modem, I can reproduce the error any time by just touching the ground!! Tried decoupling at the contact point, but to no avail. If I remove the C2, and run the program directly, then the card runs fine, even if I touch the ground!
