#170496 - Unstable supply?
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Input voltage will not go below 5 volts. The drop-out voltage should be 1.5 volts to 2 volts for my circuit to work. Even if I get 3 volts (or even 2.7 volts, for 8051F340), things should be fine, or at least, this was what I was thinking. So you think I should switch to LM 1086 ? Maximum current drawn is 200 mA. If the LM317 that I am using requires higher differential, would it cause the output to drop, or would it get unstable?
