Hi all,

I have noticed that the Gurus are only sleeping partners and do not speak by themselves untill someone like me ask a good question but in a rather silly way.

The postings' quality has a bit spoiled because only new visitors are showing day by day after probably getting introduced by talk of the town:

TOM: "Hey 8052.com I visited, Maaaan what a cool place to learn 8052"

DICK: " Oh yeh, I have been there too, and asked many questions, but the damn Gurus always show a way to search first, damn it"

HARRY: " I got a project next month, I need a peice of cake well backed ready to eat. I am gonna ask someone at 8052".

See this is going nowadays Toms, Dicks and Harrys (or TDHs) asking questions. One reference I would like to make is the recent posting by Mr. Babar Idrees on how to control AC motor speed. Direct question and no mention of what this chap has done so far .....

There is no doubt that TDHs have excellent knowledge in electronics and other good skills but what they lack is the sense how to put up there problem at 8052.

None of TDHs explains that what he / she has actually tried and "done" so far and where is the stuck up.

They simply love to ask I need this please help me ......

Of course Gurus have been advising hard before on the ethics of postings, but new comers naturally don't know.

So:

Because it wastes lot of time in reading genuine subjects asked in silly postings,

I have a suggestion:

Guests should only be able to read postings and search as well.


If someone is interested in posting, then he / she "MUST" register first.

And even then before posting the registered member should be forced by "Craig" to go thru a few lines on the ethics before putting up the question. Unlike as an option to read ethics and ignore.

Members who have attained at least 2 star ranking should be able to skip this forced ethincs reading before posting the question.

I think I have driven out my rath enough.
