Quality postings going down might be due to unenthusiastic and/or unmotivated professionals visiting this forum. It's just proper for somebody to call to attention when it happens.

As to students, maybe it's time to add a mentor column where they can hung out and speak freely. Gurus who venture into the said forum are expected to teach and not complain too much.
