Got any credit cards ? A hard drive in your PC ? A TV with OSD ? A lot of engine management stuff is on '52 too. They STILL use '52 variants instead of the PICS.Now do the sums again !

If the PIC is so good, why is everybody bringing out new '52 stuff all the time ? Why not switch to AVR architecture or PIC ? Why are the USB generic devices going on '52 core ? There must be major architectural advantages with the old stuff.
