Heh, that generated some almost religious debate concerning this..

Perhaps me specifiying my question in more detail will give a more exact answer:

My goal is to (someday) build myself a USB-device and I'm thus trying to find a uC family that suits. But it should also be good in general and adabtable to all kind of projects. I don't want to learn something that gets outdated(seems not to concearn 8052) and is only useful to ie. USB-projects.
I just want to know what that's most efficient to me.
