The short answer is NO. In order to do that, it would require an independent, external time reference. One would measure the reference against machine cycles (measure the period of the reference) and adjust the timer accordingly. If you are using a -51 derivative with a comparator in it, you could use a simple R/C ramp circuit to give yourself a rough time reference. At least that would get you into the ballpark. |
