#47030 - RE: Voltage divider for dc motor Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I have a DC motor that is driven by a general purpose transistor (via an 8052 based controller). The transistor provides 12 volts output.
However, my DC motor needs less voltage. Is there a standard technique for halfing this voltage? where he has written he has to control the motor RPM. may by he is wanting to turn on and of but he doesn't has a motor of taring that the controller has the supply. may this is on/of type control for motor (i repeat. suppose a pump has to be driven by this controller in in india the ac voltage is 220/50 here and i baught my pump from US and its 110 V range. plz for knowledge tell me why PWM is required. abhishek |
