#47171 - RE: How to publish a schematic Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Kai & Ahusek:
The small idea schematics that I publish here from time to time are drawn directly with Microsoft Windows Paint program. The version I use under Windows 2000 has a direct SaveAs option to convert to .GIF format. I have quite a number of them and so to make a new one is mostly a project of cutting and pasting "components" from a previous drawing into the new one I am working on at the time. I use the Paint program to draw the small schematics becasue I can carefully lay them out for smallest size. If I used the regular schematic package, Orcad Capture, to do the schematic the files are much larger becasue it is not possible to make as "tight" of schematics with Orcad. (From time to time I do show schematics from Orcad too when I don't have the time to spend with the Paint program. In those cases I use a cool program called Kleptomania to do a screen capture of the portion I want to show and then paste it into Paint for conversion to .GIF file format). From time to time it is more suitable to show material here is .JPG format. When that becomes desirable I use Corel PhotoPaint 10. Michael Karas |
