#47056 - RE: Voltage divider for dc motor Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I'll measure it in a bit, but I don't have any datasheets on the motor (nor can I seem to get ahold of any). Since a single SMT 2n3904 is enough to drive it without getting hot, I suspect around 100ma or less.
The problem with a single regulator is that it won't work for me. I don't have access to the transistor side. I have two "lines". 12volts...and the collector of the transistor. The input voltage is controlled by the circuit. The motor is opperated with an onoff as well as it has two "speeds". 12 volts and 6 volts. I need to change this to 6 volts and 3 volts again without having anything more than the voltage (12 or 6) and the collector for the driving transistor. So this really requires some cheap circuit that literally divides whatever input voltage in half. Thanks J |
