Well, I built and tested Kai's circuit today. Works fantastically! Heat was no issue as I even tested with an SOT23 package. The dongle board that I pcb'd should fit just right. Although when we finally do a new board revision (to get rid of the dongle), I may modulate the signal with the 805x thats already there.

Now who do I pay this consulting fee to? ;)

What a messy thread I produced...I'm ashamed. Thanks again to all who took the time and interest to offer suggestions. I promise next time if I post to provide more accurate details such that I don't double the board database size ;)
