#49732 - RE: Analogue Multiplexer for 0-10V Signa Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hello Michael,
Sorry you got the wrong impression about the schematic. It clearly indicates a 5 V source. The orginial web site clearly states the inputs are 0-5VDC. How much clearer can it be? I wouldn't have minded Rob clarifying the circuit NOT being able to handle 0-10VDC. That I look at as being constructive, but I got the impression he though I misled users into thinking the circuit was other than what was posted. I also asked to leave out person opinions BUT it looks like that is something the regular poster can't handle. when I post something I try to stick to fact only. Not to let my own personal opinions get in the way. It is something we all should do. Please don't think I am flaming you I am trying to say this nicely. This 0-10 VDC input is a big problem in the Analog world and has come up many times in many ways. National Semiconductor has some good information about how to handle the problem. I can't give you references at this minutes but a little research will show you it is a big subject. Regards, Charles Bannister |
