I have no complaint about the CD4051 what so ever. It has its places of usage to be sure. I have used MANY of them over the years along with its family members, the CD4052, CD4053, and the CD4066. Cannot say that I have used the CD4067 but it is right in there with the others as far as application.

But I have also used various analog mux parts from MAXIM, Analog Devices, Philips, and BurBrown (not TI). When used they were applied because of the benefits they brougt to my application.
