#49733 - RE: Analogue Multiplexer for 0-10V Signa Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hallo Charles,
for me it was absolut obviously, that the schematic you published is intended to be used for 0V...5V signals. One tenth of a second and I realized symbol '+5VA' at 4067-chip. And I can't understand, that some people are so focused on finding even the smallest mistake and try to make someone to appear ridiculous. But that's the law of this forum: One small mistake and the whole pack of hounds is hunting you. I'm very unhappy of this climate of unfriendliness and obstinacy, which can be seen from time to time in this forum. And I don't want to believe that this is typical for professionals... You are a nice guy, Charles, and only wanted to give help. It's obvious, that after the posting of Sajid it could not be published any schematic 100%-ly satisfying his needs. He didn't tell us, whether signals can be out of range of 0-10V, he didn't tell us, whether he uses buffers of low output impedance in front of 4051, he didn't tell us, what kind of signal conditioning is behind his multiplexer, and and and. But nevertheless, you tried to give help and published a schematic which MIGHT be helpful, containing many assumptions. But that's your dead in THIS forum. You should be really happy, that you weren't accused to be a 'hacker' or to publish 'plain bogus'... Very best regards, Kai |
