#49749 - RE: Analogue Multiplexer for 0-10V Signa Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Charles:
I'm not trying to attack you personally. I am stating what is the very obvious conslusion that can drawn from the post you made. If you choose to see it as a personal attack then fine.....go sit in the corner and feel hurt. But that will be your doing and none of mine. You are the one that seems so tied up in this cut and paste schametic post that you made that you cannot remove your own ego from it. Try to step outside that box and you should be able to see what I am saying. I know Rob saw it. Maybe others did too. My concern has to do with the inference that others may draw from reading a post that I have so clearly outlined as why it could be misleading. One thing you need to know about ME. I don't quit when I know I am right. You can accuse me of failure, personally attacking you and so on. But you are just plain incorrect in saying that the post is clear and unambiguous. It is not.... and so as long as you contend that it is and this thread remains open for replies I'll be here to reiterate my words. Just remember one thing please.....what may seem obvious to you may not be obvious to others. You said the CD4067 was capable of operating with 0-10V inputs if setup properly. And following on after that in the next sentence of the same and only paragraph you said "here is how to hook it up". Conclusion drawn::ok lets build it, he gave us the schematic. I have said this several times already and will continue to do so. Anybody not familair with this chip could easily conclude from the post that the CD4067 is the neat chip that works with 0->10V inputs whilest powered from a 5V supply. Of course those of us familiar with the chip know differently...but my technican assistant wouldn't, my automechanic brother wouldn't, my aircraft quality inspector brother wouldn't. Worse yet maybe Sajid Hussain Ansari wouldn't know. MICHAEL KARAS |
