I use UNIPROG.EXE with a µC programmer from \"Futurlec.com\" and I have the same problems like you when using windows XP. I have submitted the problem to Futurlec but they proposed me to use a program called UserPort.exe, unfortunatly this does not solve the problem.

If I get a solution to the problem I will let you know.
