#51816 - RE: WGASA
Responding to: ???'s previous message
At the San Diego Wild Animal Park (you should visit if you get to San Diego, it is fabulous) all things have African names e.g. the restaurant is The Mombasa Cooker. The monorail running around the park so the animals can see the people is called the Wgasa Bush Line. The story goes that a few days before the park were to open an employee wrote a memo (this was the days before e-mail) to the manager "we have not yet cone up with a name for the monorail". The memo came back to the employee with "you name it, WGASA" handwritten on the bottom and the Wgasa Bush line were born. The employee later asked the manager "how did you come up with that name", puzzled the manager said "I did not, you did" the manager said "how?" and the employee showed him the memo to which the manager replise "that stands for WHO GIVES A SHIT ANYWAY"

The same can be said for RISC/CISC. The issue is not whether a processor is RISC or CISC but whether it is the best choice for your application.
